Thanks so much for recommending So Relatable on this very esteemed list of newsletters! What an honor! Also, we have very reading habits. I subscribe to almost everyone on your list, too!
Fun fact: Kate McKean and I both went to the University of Florida and a professor put me in touch with her when I was considering publishing grad programs (before I ended up moving to Boston and working at Houghton). She gave me incredibly smart, transparent, and practical advice about working in the industry.
The Fabelmans. Saw it this past weekend. WAY too long. They should have cut 45-60 minutes of it...would have been exactly the same movie and I wouldn't have been annoyed at losing an hour of my life! I still need to see Tar and Everything Everywhere and Banshees. TOO MUCH CONTENT!
Seriously, SO LONG. And yes, all the content. I do recommend seeing all of those but...take your time. Content isn't a race. It will all still be there. (I'm telling myself this as well!)

My pleasure! I enjoy your newsletter so much!
P. S. Hung Up is a DELIGHT!
Now I’m going to watch movies all weekend. 😁

Oh awesome! That doesn't surprise me.

Everything Everywhere All at Once was amazing, nothing further to add here.
I used to love TAON and then he changed the format and now I don't even open the emails!
Oh interesting!!! I mean, I currently have 455 unopened Substacks sitting in my Gmail so...sometimes I don't open them either. ;)
